Casino Royal 007 James Bond.. All I could watch was the main actresses bleeding lipstick and inconsistent smokey runny eyemakeup, ruined the whole movie for me..
10000 BC .... okay at least get an actress with real blue eyes and brown hair. Her contacts were painfully obvious and her overdrawn eyebrows looked stenciled on at times. And I love Steven Strait, but the pearly white teeth in this movie killed me. Every actor had veneers... Eragon-I could ramble for hours about this horrid movie. I LOVE the books, and this script was pathetic, the art direction was low budget and obviously zero research was done. This character Arya is an elf, who is a warrior with pointed ears, ebony hair and clad in black leather with a wispy yet deadly bow. EXCUSE ME-round ears, red hair, a boney weapon and a freakin DRESS for crying out loud. Every time she was on the screen I wanted to get up and leave the theatre it was so bad, but my kids were there. Oh and there is a MAJOR spoiler in the movie as well!
Anyway this gives you an idea of how I watch a movie. I could rake on many more but I shall quit here.
Needless to say I do not own many movies. My kids and husband give me books and movies on special occasions, so I don't run out and randomly buy my favorites, unless it is a new release book that I cannot wait to read. I have yet to be gifted my favorite movie of all time "Gone With the Wind". My list really isn't very long. I prefer to only own movies I can enjoy time and time again without getting sick of it. There are many movies that are so very well made that affect me so much I cannot watch them again, like Titanic, Unfaithful, Shindlers List, The Color Purple etc. Here we have my lofty selection of movies that for me are pure entertainment.Knights Tale (cute boy period love story and great music), Count of Monte Cristo (very well made, even for an adaptation), I Love You to Death (hilarious performances way overlooked flick), Three Musketeers (cute boys, adventure, sword fighting and Alexandre Dumas, what a soup), Wizard of Oz (but of course)
Tell me... What is your favorite movie... and your least favorite, and tell me why?
