Well mine is slightly off topic, but fitting because today is my birthday. So I'm giving myself the gift of blogging and not trying to keep the illusion alive by cleaning the kitchen.
Like all mothers,we feel our best gifts are our children. I concure. This is me on my birthday 9 years ago. My daughter was born the night before on April 27th. She loves it when I call her my favorite gift.
My son was also a precious gift, not only to me but also to my Grandma Mary. He was born on her birthday. My most memorable phone call from her was when she giggled on the other end of the line and said "Do you have a birthday present for me?" Miss you Grandma.
I was enduced with my baby girl. I like to tell her that I didnt want her to have share her birthday with anyone, so I had her come out early so she could have her special day all to herself.
Over the last 5 years I've learned that sharing your birthday with someone else is a very special gift that can never be replaced.
