MAD Monday!!

So much for the start of my productive week. This day was ruined by petty theft. I went shopping with my girlfriends this morning, we hit the outlet mall and I found a great deal on a pair of capri's and clam diggers that fit perfectly and were 60% off! Sweet!! Later I was in a store helping Amy and Rachelle find shoes, you know, those do it yourself places. Well as I am finding sizes, opening boxes, admiring and encouraging them to purchase the cuteness adorning their feet, my shopping bag was swiped! GONE!! OH I was SO stinking mad!! I still am.

I'm mad that I set the bag down in a busy store,(yeah what recession?).

I'm mad for not paying attention.

I'm mad for leaving the receipt in the bag.

I'm mad that I can't jack-slap the person for stealing $50 plus bucks from me.
I'm mad because, I KNOW BETTER!

Dang it, it sucks when this happens to anyone, but it really really sucks when it happens to me..

I reported it to mall security, backtracked all my steps, just in case I'm crazy and lost it, and left my name and number with the manager of the store to keep an eye out for these two items being returned. I'm totally S.O.L. And I just couldn't bring myself to re-purchase the stuff, no matter what a great deal they were and how well they fit. The reminder would just make me MAD!

Would you call me MAD for not letting things go very easily?
