As a youth, I was way too concerned with all things concerning hairbands. Hanging every poster I could get my hands on in every nook and cranny in my bedroom as well as hanging out with long haired boys and rocker chick girlfriends. I was so consumed, that I had zero time for "learning" something worthwhile. I was a lazy, daydreamy student who didn't care much for lectures or books. MTV and Hit Parader Magazine were my preferred teacher and books. Not until my senior year in high school did the bulb flash and I realize that I wasn't going to graduate high school without a some additional effort.

I had an english teacher named Mr. Howell, whom everyone hated because his class was so HARD! I even begged my parents to remove me from his class, they tried without success. Mr. Howell ended up being the teacher for me that finally made me feel like I was capable of being a good student. I was floored when I got an "A" in his class. That A was contagious, and spread to the rest of my classes. And for the first time in my education I made the honor roll and that sparked a new love of learning.
I'm a self teacher. I love to learn new things on my own. These days I am learning how to use one of my new loves... meet "Mac" isnt he so pretty? I dread having to use the dinosaur PC anymore. I am also learning how to use Adobe Creative Suite 3, Photoshop is so fun and I can't wait to dig into Dreamweaver and Illustrator. I'll wait for CS4 to be debugged thank you very much.
